Error c00d133c occurs when using an Xbox app on your PC

You see the following error code and message when you use an Xbox app on your Windows-based device:

Typically, this error occurs in cases such as when you purchase content from the Films & TV Store and then try to watch it. This error may mean one of the following:

  • The content that you're trying to play is not currently available.
  • A network problem is preventing you from accessing the content.

Solutions

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

TV, Music and Video: up and running

Solution 2: Check whether the content is still available

To make sure that the content is still available, search the Music Store or Films & TV Store again. If you can't find the item, it's probably no longer available. Check back periodically to see if the content is available again.

If you just purchased the content, try the next solution.

Solution 3: Troubleshoot your connection to Xbox Live
