Error 8015341b occurs when you try to switch your Xbox Live gamertag to a different Microsoft account

You see one of the following error codes and messages when you try to switch your Xbox Live gamertag to a different Microsoft account:

Can't change Microsoft account

Error code: 8015341b
Can't change Windows Live ID

This may mean that your Xbox Live account and your Microsoft account are associated with different regions.

Solution

To resolve this problem, check the region of your Microsoft account and change it if necessary. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft Account.
  2. Under Account summary, select Edit personal info.
  3. Under Home you can select a different country or region to match the region of your Xbox Live account.
  4. After you've changed the country/region to match the region for your Xbox Live account, click Save.

If you still experience the problem, contact Xbox Support.
