Error C101A24F occurs when making a purchase on Xbox 360

You see the following error when you try to purchase something through your Xbox 360 console:

C101A24F

Solution

To resolve this problem, try deleting your gamertag and clearing the cache on your console. Here's how:

  1. Unplug any accessories, such as your headset, the Xbox 360 Chatpad or the Kinect sensor, that are attached to your console.
  2. Delete your gamertag profile and items. For more information, see Manage gamertag & profile.
  3. Clear your system cache twice. See How to clear the cache on Xbox 360.
  4. Recover your profile. For more information, see Manage gamertag & profile.

Try your purchase again. If this solution doesn’t resolve the problem, contact Xbox Support.
