Is there a longer cable to connect my Kinect sensor to my Xbox One console?

Solution

If you have an Xbox One S:

To use your Kinect with an Xbox One S console, you need the Xbox Kinect Adapter. This may give you a little extra length in addition to the 9-foot cable that came with the sensor.

For information about the Kinect adapter, see Using an Xbox One Kinect Sensor with an Xbox One S console.

If you have an original Xbox One:

Currently, an extension cable is not available for the Xbox One Kinect Sensor. If the 9-foot cable that came with your sensor is not long enough, we recommend that you reconfigure your play space by moving the sensor and console closer together.

Note Do not try to modify the Kinect cable. This may create a safety hazard and affect the performance of the Kinect sensor and the Xbox One console. The Xbox Kinect Adapter will not work with the original Xbox One.

For information about how to configure your play space, see Set up your Kinect play space with Xbox One.
