Troubleshoot France 24 app issues

This article describes how to resolve problems with the France 24 app on Xbox 360.

The France 24 app doesn't respond

If the France 24 app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to "France 24."
  6. Select Delete.
  7. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to apps and then Browse apps.
  8. Select the France 24 app.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

If the problem isn’t resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the France 24 app.

Connectivity errors

  • Sorry, the France 24 server isn’t available right now. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • The Application has encountered an unexpected error and will now exit.
  • France 24 Server unavailable.
  • A server or network error has occurred. Please try again later.
  • An unknown error has occurred.
  • An internal error has occurred
  • To resolve the error, follow these steps:

    1. Go to www.xbox.com/status to ensure there is not an issue with the service provider.
    2. If there is no issue and you receive this error message when you try to launch the France 24 app or content within the app, wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to launch the app again.
    3. If you continue to receive this error, delete the France 24 app and reinstall.
    4. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Xbox Support.

Availability errors

  • The video cannot be played at this time.
  • A missing data error has occurred.
  • Sorry, the video you were interested in is no longer available.
  • To resolve the error, follow these steps:

    1. If you get this error, wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to launch the content again.
    2. If you continue to receive this error, return to the previous menu and select different piece of content to watch.
