Error 19-02-80004005 occurs when you try to play content on your Xbox 360 console

Problem

You see the following error code and message when you try to play content on your Xbox 360 console:

Can't play this content because it may not be supported. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/support

Status code: 19-02-80004005

This may mean that the content is "protected". This error can occur if Digital Rights Management (DRM) is encoded in the content.

Solutions

To work around this issue, obtain a copy of the content that is not “protected” or encoded with DRM.

Note You may have to install the Optional Media Update to play some file formats.
