Error 0x87DF2EE7 occurs when you try to access content from Xbox Live

You get the following error code when you try to access content from Xbox Live:

0x87DF2EE7

This may mean that Xbox was unable to load the resource that you requested. This was likely due to an issue resolving the name of the resource to an IP address.

Solutions

In most cases, this issue is a temporary connection error. Try again after a short while, and you should be able to access the content that you were looking for.

If the problem persists, try the following:

  1. Restart your network device.
  2. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select All Settings.
  5. Under Network, select Network settings.
  6. Select Detailed network statistics.

If the test shows more than 5 per cent packet loss, try the Xbox Live Slow Performance Solution.
