Turn off auto renewal or cancel a Zune Music Pass subscription

Turn off your Zune auto renewal

The recommended option for cancelling your Zune Music Pass is to cancel auto-payment. After cancelling auto-payment, your membership will expire at the end of its term. To do this:

  1. Click Sign In (upper right-hand corner) and sign in using your Microsoft account (if you’re not already signed in).
  2. Go to My Account.
  3. In the Xbox Live section of the My Account page, click Cancel Auto Payment.

Important If you cancel auto-payment, your Music Pass will expire at the end of your paid membership time. Until then, you can continue to enjoy all the benefits of your subscription.

Note If you cancel your Zune Music Pass, media usage rights will expire at the end of your current billing cycle. You won't be able to play the songs you downloaded after the subscription period ends, even though they still appear in your music collection. Songs already purchased are yours to keep.
