How to get your Xbox product serviced

Getting your Xbox 360 console or Kinect sensor serviced is easy. Send us your non-working Xbox product and we will exchange it. Here’s how it works:

You need:

• Microsoft account (email and password). Microsoft account is the email address and password that you use to sign in to various Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you can create a free Microsoft account.
• Console or Kinect sensor serial number. How do I find this?

Time to complete: About 3 minutes

Let us know what’s wrong with the product.

• We’ll let you know if the product is in warranty.

  In-warranty service: Free
  Out-of-warranty service: $105.00 plus tax (submitted online) or $125.00 plus tax (submitted over the phone)

• American Express, Visa, and MasterCard credit cards are accepted

Check your warranty status (sign in with your Microsoft account if needed).

Time to complete: About 2 minutes

Remove all accessories and put only the console or sensor in a shipping box.

• Attach the provided shipping label to the box and send it to our service center.
• You can check the order status by going to the Online Service Center.

Turnaround Time

Once our service center receives your product, it will be serviced and returned to you in approximately 10 days.

Post-service warranty

The length of the post-service warranty depends on whether your Xbox product is serviced while it is under warranty or not.

• In-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console is serviced within the original warranty period (free exchange), you receive either the balance of your original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.
• Out-of-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console is serviced out of the original warranty period (paid exchange), your serviced console will have a 90-day warranty.
