From your PC
To turn automatic renewal off: Click Sign In at the top of this page, or click My Account if you’re already signed in. The automatic renewal setting will be displayed near the top-center of the screen. Click Change next to Automatic Renewal.
On your console
When you’re approaching the end of your current Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, you’ll get a renewal message on your TV screen.
If automatic renewal is turned on for your membership, the membership will be renewed and will be billed to the “payment method” (credit card or PayPal account) that is saved in your Xbox LIVE account. Your access to Xbox LIVE Gold benefits will not be interrupted.
If your membership is not automatically renewed as described above, you can renew by using the credit card/PayPal account associated with your Xbox LIVE account or by redeeming a prepaid code purchased from a retailer. (Change your Xbox LIVE account payment option)
Note Use the prepaid code option if you don’t want credit card or PayPal account information saved in your Xbox LIVE account.
Do this on your PC
Sign in at the top of any xbox.com page, such as this one, or click My Account if you’re already signed in. Select Upgrade/Manage. Follow the steps to purchase a membership or redeem a code that you purchased from a retailer.
