Remove the guest key on your Xbox One console

If you decide you no longer want to restrict what guests can view on your Xbox One console when you're not signed in, or you want to allow guests to add their own Xbox profile, you can simply remove the guest key you created. Here’s how:

To remove the guest key from your Xbox One console:

  1. Scroll left on Home to open the guide.
  2. Select Sign in. Scroll down to select the account you want to sign in to.
  1. After you’ve signed in, scroll left on Home to open the guide.
  1. Select Settings.
  1. Select All Settings.
  1. Select System.
  2. Select Signed-out content restrictions.
  1. Enter your password to confirm your identity.
  1. Select Remove guest key.
  1. Enter the guest key to remove it.

Note If you have forgotten the guest key, enter an incorrect guest key three times and the console will ask you for your password. Enter your password to remove the guest key.
