Report incorrect information in the Store

We maintain a high standard of quality for the Groove Music Store. However, incorrect information or errors may occasionally appear. If you find content in the Groove Music Store that doesn't look or sound right, go to Microsoft Community, search for "Music," and describe what you see. We'll work to resolve the problem.

Types of information to report

Here are some of the problems we can fix:

  • Typos in the artist name, album name, or song title
  • Incorrect album, video, or movie
  • Audio glitches (for example, the song is cut off early or late, or it is the wrong song)
  • Incorrect rights (for example, you can preview but not purchase media content, or vice versa; or, you can download but not stream media content, or vice versa)
  • An incorrect release date
  • Problems with the movie review or artist biography
  • Tracks or albums that are assigned to the wrong artist
  • Missing tracks or confused track listings, such as a track order of 1, 3, 2, 5, 4
  • Missing episode or confused episode list, such as an episode order of 1, 2, 6, 4, 5
  • An incorrect Parental Advisory rating

How to submit a Microsoft Community forum post

Note If you want to post to Microsoft Community, you’ll need a Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, you can create a new account.

  1. Go to the Xbox Music forums on Microsoft Community.
  2. At the top of the page, select the search bar, type keywords related to your issue in the search box, and then select Enter. You may find that someone has already requested a fix for the incorrect information.
  3. If you haven't found any topics related to your issue, select Ask the community at the upper-right corner of the page.
  4. In the Details section, type your entry. Be sure to include as many specific details as possible about the incorrect information.

  1. In the dropdown boxes, select Music, Movies & TV under Category, and Groove Music under Product.

  1. Select Submit.
