The TOU.TV app on Xbox 360 doesn’t respond

If the TOU.TV app on Xbox 360 doesn’t respond to input, delete and reinstall the app:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to TOU.TV.
  6. Select Delete. Confirm that you want to delete the item. After you’ve deleted all the items related to the app, go back to the Dashboard.
  7. From the Dashboard, go to apps, and then to Browse Apps or Search Apps.
  8. Browse or search for TOU.TV, and then select it.
  9. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you use the TOU.TV app.

Availability errors

  • The content you are trying to access is no longer available.

If you get this error, it means that the content you're looking for is currently unavailable. Search the TOU.TV app for different content to watch.

Connectivity errors

  • To access this service, you need to be connected to Xbox Live
  • Sorry, the Tou.tv web service is unavailable. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status
  • Sorry, the Tou.tv video service is unavailable. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status

If you get one of these error messages, check service status for problems with Xbox Live or the TOU.TV service.

If there are no current problems, wait about a minute and then try starting the TOU.TV app again.

If you still get the error, delete and reinstall the TOU.TV app.

If you continue to get one of these error messages, try to improve your connection speed.

If none of these solutions work, contact Xbox Support.

Regional errors

  • The selected content is not available in your country

If you get this message, it means that the TOU.TV app is not available in your locale. To access TOU.TV, your Xbox 360 console must be set to a supported country locale, and you must have an IP range from within that supported country locale.
