Troubleshooting VEVO on Xbox 360

Troubleshoot

The VEVO App does not start or will not respond to input

Delete the VEVO app from your Xbox 360 console and download it again.

  1. Go to Settings, System from the Xbox Dashboard
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device (probably the Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to VEVO.
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps, and then select VEVO.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

You receive an error message “Sorry, we can’t seem to connect to Xbox LIVE. Please check your Internet connection.”

  1. Wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to watch the video again.
  2. If, after waiting, the error message re-occurs – try the solutions on this page: Improve Xbox LIVE performance.

You receive the error message “Oops! Looks like an error occurred while trying to link your accounts. Was your code entered correctly?”

You have entered an incorrect authentication code, or the code that you entered does not match the one on record. Check the code carefully, and try again.

You receive the error message “The code you entered has not been associated with your VEVO account. Please verify if you have entered the correct code”.
