View and download content and add-ons for your Xbox One games

Many Xbox One games have add-ons such as new in-game items or new playable levels that you can buy from the Xbox Store. View the following video to quickly find out how you can view, manage, and download the available add-ons for your games on Xbox One.

Note To access your downloads, make sure you're signed in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase and download the content. See How to find games and game content after you redeem a code online on Xbox One for help with automatic downloads of your purchases.

Find games or apps that are currently installed

  1. While on the Xbox One Home screen, scroll to the right, and then press the A button  on your controller to open My games and apps.
  2. Select Games or Apps.
  3. The content that you've downloaded or used most recently will appear first. If you don't see your game or app, scroll right until it appears.

View the add-ons available for a specific game

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to go to the Home screen.
  2. Scroll right to Store, and then select Games at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select Search all games.

  5. Select the game from the list.

Find games, apps, add-ons, or content packs that you downloaded but have uninstalled

  1. While on the Home screen, scroll to the right, and then press the A button  on your controller to open My games and apps
  2. Select Games or Apps.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, view the Ready to Install area.

Download add-ons you’ve purchased as part of a bundle

If multiple add-ons were included in a single purchase, such as a season pass or a Limited Edition game bundle, you may need to download them separately. There are two ways to download the individual items:

  • Inside the game, look for a store. Find the component items of the season pass, and download them there.
  • Download the individual add-ons from the Store. Here’s how:
  1. While on the Home screen, scroll to the right, and then press the A button on your controller to open My games and apps.
  2. Locate the game, and then press the Menu button .
  3. Select Manage game.
  4. In the Ready to install column, select the add-on you want to install.
  5. Press the A button  to install the add-on.
If you’re having issues downloading your add-ons, see Problems downloading a game or app on Xbox One.
