The Absolute Radio app doesn’t respond

If the Absolute Radio app doesn’t respond to input, delete and reinstall it. Here's how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and highlight the Absolute Radio app. Press the Y button to access Game Options.
  6. Select Delete, and then confirm that you want to delete all items related to the app.
  7. Go back to the Dashboard.
  8. Go to apps and then to Browse Apps or Search Apps.
  9. Browse or search for the Absolute Radio app and then select it.
  10. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

If you keep getting this error, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You might get the following error messages when you try to use the Absolute Radio app.

Connectivity errors

  • Can’t connect to the Absolute Radio Service. Error code: 0C01/8009/0304
    1. Check the Xbox Live status page for current issues with the service.
    2. If there is no issue and you get the error message when you try to start the Absolute Radio app, wait for about a minute and then try to start the app again.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Absolute Radio app.
    4. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Xbox Support.

Application errors

  • Error 1215

    This error indicates that the Absolute Radio web server is not reachable.

    1. Go to the Xbox Live status page to make sure there is no issue with the service provider.
    2. If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to start the app, wait for about a minute and then try to start it again.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Absolute Radio app.
    4. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Absolute Radio Support.
  • Error 1058

    This error indicates that Absolute Radio is having an audio streaming issue.

    1. Go to the Xbox Live status page to make sure there is no issue with the service provider.
    2. If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to play some content, wait for about a minute and then try to play the content again.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Absolute Radio app.
    4. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Absolute Radio Support.
