You see the following error message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 console:
Sorry, either that's the wrong password, or that email doesn't have an Xbox membership. Please try again.
Status Code: 8015D002
This means that there’s a problem with your account password.
Solution 1: Use an app password to sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 console
If you’ve turned on two-step verification, you’ll need to use an app password when you download your Xbox profile or sign in to your Xbox 360 console. When you're prompted to enter your Microsoft account user name and password, enter your app password instead of your Microsoft account password.
If you’ve forgotten your app password, or if you didn’t set one up, you can generate a new app password and sign in to your console. Here's how:
Make sure the Remember Password checkbox is selected if you don't want to re-enter an app password each time you sign in to this console.
Note If you’ve forgotten your app password, you can use these same steps, removing the prior app password first, or you can turn off two-step verification.
Solution 2: Turn off two-step verification
If you no longer want to use two-step verification, you can easily turn it off:

If you don’t have two-step verification turned on, you may have typed the wrong password. Try again, or reset your account password.
