Extended Service Plan for Xbox 360 and Kinect sensor

The Microsoft Extended Service Plan lengthens the protection coverage of your new Xbox 360 console or Kinect sensor beyond the standard warranty period. Depending on the plan you purchase, you can extend your coverage by up to two years. Microsoft designed the plan to give you all the protection you need for your console or Kinect sensor.

You’ll need:

• Microsoft account (email and password).
• Microsoft account is the email address and password that you use to sign in to various Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you can create a free Windows Live account.
• Console or Kinect sensor serial number. How do I find this?

Time to complete: About 3 minutes

For a console or Kinect sensor to be eligible for an extended service plan, it must currently be under the standard warranty period.

You purchase the plan directly from Microsoft at the Xbox Online Service Centre or at any of the Microsoft Store retail outlets when purchasing a new device. Find a location.
