Accessing Help in Xbox One apps and games

Overview

Each Xbox One app or Xbox One game includes its own Help system. You can use the Help system to:

  • Learn about the title you're playing (if it's a game)
  • Set up the app or game
  • Access any additional customer support that the app or game publisher has provided

Note The nature and extent of help varies by title and publisher.

Accessing Help in an Xbox One app or game

You can use your voice and your Kinect sensor to launch the Help system in an Xbox One app or Xbox One game. Here's how:

  1. Confirm that the app or game is running and that you're connected to Xbox LIVE.
  2. Say “Xbox Help” or press the Menu button on the controller.
  3. Help will open in "Snap" mode or in "Fill" mode, depending on which of the two you're not currently using.
