Manage your non-Xbox subscription payment options on Xbox One

You can use your Xbox One console to manage payment options for non-Xbox subscriptions, such as your app subscriptions. This page describes how to add, remove, or update your payment options for your Microsoft account.

If the payment option you use is expired or no longer valid, you’ll need to update it.

Payment options include:

  • Credit cards
  • Prepaid credit cards
  • Debit cards (not available in all regions)
  • PayPal accounts (not available in all regions; see Use PayPal with your Microsoft account )
  • Direct debit (Germany only)

If you only use the Xbox Live service on your Microsoft account and do not have an Xbox subscription such as Xbox Live Gold, Groove Music Pass, EA Access, or The Elder Scrolls Online, use the steps on this page. Otherwise, see Change how you pay for an Xbox subscription.

If the payment option you want to manage is for your child’s Xbox subscription, see How to manage your child's Xbox subscription.
