Manage your Fitness on Xbox 360 information and privacy settings

What is your exercise information?

Your exercise information includes your attributes and your exercise stats.

Attributes are your height, weight, year of birth and gender. This information is used to improve the accuracy of your exercise stats in your Kinect games and apps. Providing attributes is optional. Attributes are not shared with Xbox Live members.

To change these attributes, see the "Set up or change your attributes" section below.

Exercise stats include your accumulated fitness scores based on total calories burned, time spent playing, physical intensity of movements and feedback from physical activity in Kinect games and apps.

Exercise stats can also include:

  • Measurements of fitness in the areas of strength, flexibility and endurance
  • Changes in attributes over time
  • Rankings in challenges and contests that you choose to enter
  • Rankings on leaderboards (such as "Most press-ups ever")

Set up or change your attributes

Your attributes are usually provided through your fitness games and apps. They can be managed in the game or app by using the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Follow these steps to set up or change your attributes:

  1. Sign in to your profile (either local or Xbox Live).
  2. Go to Settings and select Profile.
  3. Select Manage Exercise Info.
  4. Follow the instructions to change your attributes.

How your exercise attributes are stored and shared

Your attributes are part of your Xbox Live profile and are not shared with Xbox Live members, while your exercise stats are shared on Xbox Live based on how you set up your privacy settings. You can easily change how the information is stored and shared by managing your privacy settings. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Xbox Live profile.
  2. Go to Settings and select Privacy.
  3. Select Customise.
  4. Select Exercise Info Sharing.

Choose your privacy settings

You can customise your privacy settings by choosing from the following:

  • Offline (default): Exercise Info generated on the Xbox 360 is stored locally. This option is the default setting for new customers who play fitness titles on the Xbox 360 console. For new customers who play fitness titles on an Xbox One console, the default is “Block”.
  • Block: Exercise Info is synced to your Xbox Live account and stored privately with your online profile. This means that your exercise information is available to you for online play and roaming, so you can log in to multiple consoles, or access your information in the cloud. Nothing is visible to your Xbox Live friends.
  • Friends: Exercise Info is synced to your Xbox Live account, and all of your exercise stats (both now and historic) are visible to your Xbox Live friends.
  • Everyone: Exercise Info is synced to your Xbox Live account, and all of your exercise stats (both now and historic) are visible to "Everyone".

How to delete your exercise information

If you have played fitness games on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, your exercise information may be generated in multiple places. Therefore, deleting your exercise information generated by playing Xbox 360 games does not necessarily delete your exercise information generated by playing Xbox One games.

Follow these steps to delete from the console the exercise information generated by playing Xbox 360 fitness games:

  1. Sign in to your profile.
  2. Go to Settings and select Profile.
  3. Select Manage Exercise Info.
  4. Follow the instructions to change or delete your exercise data.
