VEVO app on Xbox 360 help

Overview

This page describes how to resolve problems with the VEVO app on your Xbox 360 console.

Xbox Live connection problems

If the VEVO app isn't functioning smoothly on your console, you may have a connectivity problem. See Troubleshoot your Xbox Live connection.

Xbox 360 audio/video problems

If your Xbox 360 console isn't providing good-quality video or audio, see Xbox 360 audio or video problems.

The VEVO app doesn't start or respond to input

Delete the VEVO app from your Xbox 360 console, and then download it again.

  1. Go to Settings, System from the Xbox Dashboard.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to VEVO.
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps, and then select VEVO.
  9. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

Error messages

Sorry, we can’t seem to connect to Xbox Live. Please check your Internet connection.

  1. Wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to watch the video again.
  2. If the error re-occurs, try the Xbox Live slow performance solution.
  • Oops! Looks like an error occurred while trying to link your accounts. Was your code entered correctly?

    You entered an incorrect authentication code, or the code that you entered does not match the one on record. Check the code carefully, and try again.

  • The code that you entered has not been associated with your VEVO account. Please verify if you have entered the correct code.
