Check your Xbox LIVE or Zune billing and purchase history

Overview

You can see and print the history of charges and items purchased on your Xbox LIVE and Zune accounts.

View charges on your Xbox LIVE or Zune account

  1. Go to the Microsoft Billing website and sign in using the Windows Live ID (email and password) that is associated with your Xbox LIVE or Zune account.
    Note If you don't know your Windows Live ID or password, see Manage your Windows Live ID.
  2. Under Your payment methods, click the payment type for which you want to see the charges (for example, a credit card).

Note Zune purchases appear under the header Your services.

  1. Charges for the current month (for example, Microsoft Points and membership renewals) are listed. If you want to see charges from another month, change the Statement period (circled in red near the bottom of the following graphic).

Charges not showing up?

Which account did you use to make the purchase? Did you sign in to the Microsoft Billing website by using the Windows Live ID associated with the account that made the purchase?

To find the Windows Live ID associated with your account, see Manage your Windows Live ID.

View your Xbox LIVE purchase history

There are two ways to see a history of purchases you’ve made with your Xbox LIVE account:

  • Go to Purchase History and sign in by using your Windows Live ID (email address and password).
  • View your Xbox LIVE purchase history on your console:
    1. Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
    2. Go to Settings and select Account.
    3. Select Download History. The items that you've downloaded are listed.

View your Zune purchase history in the Zune software

To see a history of the Zune items that you’ve purchased, use the Zune software. Here’s how:

  1. Start the Zune software, and then click Sign in in the upper-right corner of the screen. Enter your Windows Live ID (email address and password).
    Note If you have a Hotmail, Messenger, or Zune account, you have a Windows Live ID.
  2. Click Settings in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then click Account.
  3. Click Purchase History. Your purchases are listed by category.

Print a list of charges to your account

Here’s how to print a list of charges to your Xbox LIVE or Zune account:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Billing website and sign in using the Windows Live ID (email and password) that is associated with your account.
  2. Under Your payment methods, click the payment type for which you want to see the charges (for example, a credit card). Charges for the current month are shown.
  3. Click Show print view (circled in red near the top of the following graphic).

A new window opens with the month's transactions.

  1. Click Print in your browser.
