Add a credit card or PayPal account to your Xbox LIVE payment options

You can have one or more payment options associated with your Xbox LIVE account. Payment options can include credit cards and PayPal accounts, which can be used to purchase items from Xbox LIVE.

Note PayPal is not available in all regions and is not a valid payment option for the Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan. For a list of supported regions, see Use PayPal with your Xbox LIVE account. To sign up for a PayPal account, go to PayPal.com.

You can easily add a payment option through your console or at Xbox.com. Here’s how:

1. Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

   Note If you’ve lost or forgotten your Microsoft account or password, see Find your Microsoft account or password.

2. Go to Settings and then select Account.

3. Select Manage Payment Options.

4. Do one of the following:
• Select Add Credit Card to add a new credit card.
• Select Add PayPal to use your PayPal account on Xbox LIVE. Follow the instructions (enter your PayPal username and password) to add PayPal as a payment option.

1. Go to My Account.
2. Under Payment & Billing, click Manage Payment Options.
3. If prompted, sign in using your Microsoft account (also known as Windows Live ID).
4. Do one of the following:
   • Click Add a new Credit Card and enter the credit card information.
   • For Xbox LIVE and Xbox Music, you can also click PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions to add an existing PayPal account or create a new one.
