You see the following error message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live on your console:
Sorry, either that's the wrong password, or that email doesn't have an Xbox membership. Please try again.
Status Code: 8015D002
This means that there’s a problem with your account.
Solution 1: Use an app password to sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 console
If you’ve recently turned on two-step verification, the next time you download your Xbox profile or sign in to your Xbox 360 console, you're prompted to enter your Microsoft account user name and password. However, you need to enter your app password instead of your Microsoft account password.
If you’ve forgotten your app password, or if you did not set one up, you can generate a new app password and sign in to your console. Here’s how:
If you're prompted for a security code here, enter it and tap or click Submit.
A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.
Make sure the Remember Password check box is selected if you don't want to reenter an app password each time you sign in to this console.
Solution 2: Turn off two-step verification
Solution 3: If you don’t have two-step verification turned on
If you don’t have turned on, you may have the wrong password. Try again, or reset your account password.
