Blip app users can watch the best original web dramas, comedies, sports, and lifestyle content through Xbox.
To use the Blip app, you need the following:
An Xbox LIVE Gold membership
At least 75 megabytes (MBs) of available space
On your console, sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. (Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is required.)
Go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
Browse for Blip.
Select Blip to download and install the app. After the download, the app automatically starts, and you can browse through the catalog and view details about the available content.
To start the Blip app later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then Blip.
Go to Video, My Video Apps, and then Blip
Sign in to Blip by using your Facebook user name (usually your email address) and password.
If you don't have Facebook account, create one at Facebook.
From the Featured hub, you can watch any of the featured programs displayed in the center of the hub, or you can browse for content on the Popular or New on Blip tiles.
You can also go to the following hubs to browse content:
Genres – Browse and select by genre.
My Blip – Browse and select personalized content.
Note You won't be able to see your personalized content until you sign in to the Blip app using your Facebook user name and password.
Search – Browse all Blip content.
Select something to watch, and then select Play.
If you use Family Settings to control the content that can be access on your console through Xbox LIVE, the Blip app will follow the settings you've established. For example, if you prohibit TV shows that are rated TV-MA from being viewed on your console, those programs will be marked with a "restricted video" icon in the Blip app. To play such content, an adult must enter the Family Settings pass code.
For more information about how to restrict Xbox LIVE content using a pass code, see Xbox 360 console parental controls.
