Set up and watch GameSpot on Xbox 360

Download the GameSpot app

1. On your Xbox 360 console, sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. (Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is required.)
2. Go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
3. Browse for GameSpot.
4. Select GameSpot to download and install the app. After the download is complete, the app automatically starts, and you can browse through the catalog and view details about the available content.

To start the GameSpot app later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then GameSpot.

Watch GameSpot

Go to Video, My Video Apps, and then GameSpot.

1. From the app’s Home menu, you can:
   
   • Watch any of the featured programs displayed in the center of the menu.
   • Select What’s New or What’s Hot to quickly access relevant video content.
   • Select Who’s Watching What to view a filtered list of video content. Select All to see all videos, select Me to see the videos you have previously watched, or select Friends to see the videos your friends have watched.
   • Navigate to Search, Home, Shows, Reviews, Trailers, or Previews for additional video content options.
2. Select any video to start playback.

If you use Family Settings to control which movies and TV shows can be watched through Xbox LIVE, the GameSpot app will follow these settings. For example, if you prohibit TV-MA-rated TV shows from being watched on your console, those programs are marked with a "restricted video" icon in the GameSpot app. To play a locked item, an adult must enter the Family Settings pass code.
