Set up and troubleshoot the Hulu Plus app
Overview of Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE

You can instantly watch Hulu Plus movies and TV shows through your Xbox 360 console by using the Xbox Hulu Plus app.
To use the Xbox Hulu Plus app, you need:
- An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership
- At least 5 megabytes (MB) of available space
- A Hulu Plus account
- High-speed Internet access

Set up and stream Hulu Plus on Xbox 360
- From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
- Browse or search for Hulu Plus.
- Select Hulu Plus to download the app.
- When the download is complete, go back to Apps.
- Select My Apps and then Hulu Plus. You can also start Hulu Plus from Video, My Video Apps.
- Do one of the following:
- Select Log in.
- Follow the instructions to set up a free Hulu Plus trial.
Your Xbox 360 console can now instantly stream TV and movies from Hulu Plus.
Watch Hulu Plus movies and TV shows
The Hulu Plus app offers thousands of movies and TV shows that you can watch instantly on your Xbox 360 console.
To watch Hulu Plus
- Sign in by using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
- Go to Video, My Video Apps, and then Hulu Plus.
- Browse or search the Hulu Plus library or your queue.
- Select a program to watch, and then select Play.
You can also add and remove items from your Hulu Plus queue. Here’s how:
To add an item to your Hulu Plus queue
- Go to Video, My Video Apps, and then Hulu Plus.
- Select the item that you want to watch.
- Select Add to Queue.
To remove an item from your queue
- Go to Queue.
- Select the item that you want to remove.
- Select Remove from Queue.
Use Family Safety settings to control Hulu Plus access
You can use Family Settings to control which movies and TV shows can be watched with the Hulu Plus app. For example, if your Family Settings restrict viewing of R-rated content through your console and you select a restricted program to watch, you will be prompted to enter the Family Settings pass code.

Troubleshoot Hulu Plus
If Hulu Plus content is not playing smoothly, try the solutions at Issues with connection speed or disconnects.
Hulu Plus doesn't respondIf the Hulu Plus app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall the app:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, go to the Settings and select System.
- Select Storage.
- Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox Hard Drive).
- Select Games and Apps.
- Find and select any items that refer to Hulu Plus.
- Select Delete.
- Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
- Go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
- Browse or search for Hulu Plus.
- Select Hulu Plus to download the app.
