Learn how to troubleshoot problems with the Machinima app on Xbox LIVE.
If content does not play smoothly in the Machinima app, you may be experiencing a connectivity problem. See Issues with connection speed or disconnects.
If your Xbox 360 console is not providing good-quality video or audio, see Xbox 360 audio or video problems.
If the Machinima app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:
If you keep getting this error, contact Xbox Support.
You may receive one of the following error messages when you try to use the Machinima app.
Connectivity errors
If you receive one of these error messages, go to Service Status to make sure that there’s not a problem with Xbox LIVE or with the Machinima app.
If there’s no problem with Xbox LIVE and you receive one of these error messages when trying to launch the Machinima app, wait approximately one minute and then try launching the app again.
If after re-launching the app you receive one of these error messages, try deleting and then reinstalling the app.
If you continue to receive one of these error messages, see Improve Xbox LIVE Speed and try to improve your connection speed.
If none of these solutions work, contact Xbox Support.
Availability errors
If you receive one of these error messages, it may mean that there's a problem with the content you're trying to download. Wait approximately one minute and then try downloading the content again.
If you continue to receive one of these error messages, return to the previous menu and select a different piece of content to watch.
To notify Machinima about one of these errors, send an email to xboxsupport@machinima.com.
Account errors
If you receive this error message, it means that your Xbox 360 console was not correctly associated with Machinima.
To register your console with Machinima, see the "Register your Xbox with Machinima" section in Set up the Machinima app on Xbox
If you still receive this error message after registering your console with Machinima, send an email to xboxsupport@machinima.com.
