This article describes how to resolve problems with the Maxim app on Xbox 360.
If the Maxim app is not functioning smoothly on your console, you may be experiencing a connectivity problem. See Issues with connection speed or disconnects.
If your Xbox 360 console is not providing good-quality video or audio, see Xbox 360 audio or video problems.
If the Maxim app doesn’t respond to input, delete and reinstall the app. Here’s how:
From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then System.
Select Storage.
Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
Select Games and Apps.
Find and select any items that refer to Maxim.
Select Delete.
Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
Go to Browse Apps, and then select Maxim.
Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.
If you keep getting this error, contact Xbox Support.
You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the Maxim app.
Connectivity errors
Sorry, the Maxim server isn't available right now. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status
To resolve this error, follow these steps:
Visit the Service status page to check for current issues with Xbox LIVE or Maxim.
If there are no current issues and you get this error message when you try to start the Maxim app or play content in the app, wait about a minute and try again.
If you continue to get this error, delete and reinstall the Maxim app.
