Troubleshoot MSN Video on Xbox LIVE

If the MSN Video app doesn’t respond, delete the app and download it again.

1. Go to Settings, System from the Xbox Dashboard.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select your primary storage device (most likely the Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
4. Select Games and Apps.
5. Find and select any items that refer to MSN.
6. Select Delete.
7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
8. Go to Browse Apps, and then select MSN.
9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

You might get one of the following error messages when you install or run the MSN Video app:

• Sorry, the MSN service is not available right now. Please try again later.

  Solution:

  • Wait for about a minute and then try to install or run the app again.
  • Check the status of the MSN service.
  • Try the solutions at Issues with connection speed or disconnects.
• Sorry, the video you're interested in is no longer available.
• Sorry, either the current video or the MSN service is not available right now. Please try again later.
• The page you are trying to view does not exist.
• There are currently no videos available for this category. The editorial team has not programmed anything here. Please check back at a later date.
• The video is not loading properly. We are attempting to reload the video now.

  Solution:

  • Exit the MSN Video app and then start it again.
  • To work around the problem, select a different video to watch.

• MSN cannot be run in your region.

  Solution:

  • The MSN Video app can’t be run in your current region, based on your Internet service provider and Internet connection. If you’re in a country that does offer the MSN Video app, delete and redownload the MSN app.
