Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the Neon Alley app.

  • “You have entered incorrect username/password”

This error can occur if there was a problem linking your Neon Alley account with your Xbox gamertag. To resolve this issue, try the following:

    1. Verify your user name and password and then retry the activation process.
    2. If you continue to get the error message when you try to sign in, exit and restart the Neon Alley app, and then try to sign in again.
    3. Contact Neon Alley support.

  • “This Xbox has been banned from Neon Alley.”

  • “Your subscription is inactive. Please login to your account and try again.”

You may get one of these error messages if you reach the maximum number of devices that are supported by Neon Alley. To resolve this issue, sign out of Neon Alley on other devices and then try to sign in again on your Xbox 360 console.

If you continue to get the error message, contact Neon Alley support.

  • “We are facing technical difficulties. Please exit the neon alley app.”

This issue can occur if there’s a problem with the Neon Alley app or if you can’t connect to the Neon Alley servers. If you get one of these error messages, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Service status page to check for current issues with the service provider.
    2. If there are no issues with the service provider and you get this error when you try to start the Neon Alley app, wait for about a minute and then try again.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Neon Alley app.
    4. If reinstalling the app doesn’t resolve this issue, contact Xbox Support.
