Watch Netflix and use Family Settings

Netflix offers thousands of movies and TV shows that you can watch instantly on your Xbox 360 console. If you haven’t installed the Netflix app, see Set up the Netflix app.

To watch Netflix

1. Sign in by using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
2. Go to Video, select My Video Apps, and then select Netflix.
3. Browse or search the Netflix library or your queue.
4. Select the item that you want to watch, and then select Play.

You can add and remove items from your Netflix Instant Queue. Here’s how:

To add an item to your Netflix queue

1. Go to Video, select My Video Apps, and then select Netflix.
2. Select an item that you want to watch.
3. Select Add to Instant Queue.

To remove an item from your queue

1. Go to Instant Queue.
2. Select the item that you want to remove.
3. Select Remove from Queue.

You can use Family Settings to control which movies and TV shows can be watched with the Netflix app. For example, if your Family Settings prohibit R-rated content from being watched on your console, selecting a restricted item will prompt you to enter the Family Settings pass code. To play a locked item, an adult must enter the Family Settings pass code.
