Troubleshoot the NHL GameCenter app on Xbox LIVE

If the NHL GameCenter app doesn’t respond to input, delete and reinstall it . Here’s how:

1. From the Xbox Home, go to Settings and then System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
4. Select Games and Apps.
5. Find and select any items that refer to “NHL GameCenter.”
6. Select Delete.
7. Return to Xbox Home.
8. Go to Browse Apps and select NHL GameCenter.
9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the NHL GameCenter app:

This issue can occur if there’s a problem with the NHL GameCenter app or if you can’t connect to the NHL GameCenter servers. If you get one of these error messages, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Service Status page to check for current issues with the service provider.
2. If there are no issues and you get this error when you try to start the NHL GameCenter app, wait about a minute and then try again.
3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the NHL GameCenter app.
4. If reinstalling the app doesn’t resolve the issue, contact Xbox Support by using the “Assistance” section at the bottom of this page.
