Install SmartGlass on your Windows phone

To use SmartGlass on your Windows phone, you need:

• A Windows phone with 512 MB of RAM and Windows Phone 7.5 software or later
• An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership
• An Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 game or app that contains SmartGlass content

Note For SmartGlass on Xbox, you'll also need the most recent Xbox 360 console software updates.

1. On your Windows Phone, tap Marketplace.
2. Browse or search for “SmartGlass.”
3. Follow the instructions to install the SmartGlass app.

Note Your Windows phone can communicate with your Xbox 360 console through the phone’s existing cellular network. However, you'll get better performance if your phone is connected to the same wireless network as your console. To find out how to connect your Windows phone to the wireless network associated with your Xbox 360 console, contact your phone service provider.
