Install SmartGlass on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

About SmartGlass

Before installing SmartGlass, make sure you have the requirements for using SmartGlass, including an Xbox LIVE Membership and an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

SmartGlass requirements for iOS

To use SmartGlass for iOS, your device must meet the following requirements:

  • iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S or 5
  • iPod touch 4th or 5th generation
  • iPad 1, 2, 3, 4 or Mini
  • iOS 5 or later

Install SmartGlass

Install SmartGlass on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Here’s how:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  2. Tap the Search icon and search for SmartGlass.
  3. Tap the Free icon next to SmartGlass.
  4. Tap Install App and follow the instructions.

Install using iTunes (on your computer)

You can install SmartGlass on your computer by using iTunes. Here’s how:

  1. Open iTunes on your computer.
  2. In the Source list (on the left side of the iTunes window), click iTunes Store.
  3. Click App Store on the menu bar at the top of the window.
  4. Select iPhone or iPad.
  5. Browse or search for SmartGlass.
  6. Click Free App and follow the instructions to download SmartGlass.

After downloading SmartGlass to iTunes, you can transfer it to an Apple device.
