You can use the SmartGlass app on your mobile device to browse and play content that's on your Xbox 360 console. You can also use SmartGlass on your mobile device to browse content (movies, TV shows, games, and apps) at the Xbox Store that you want to watch, and then launch that content on your console from your mobile device.
This article describes how to troubleshoot SmartGlass connection and performance issue on mobile devices.
Solution 1: Phones and tablets
Although your smartphone or tablet can communicate with your console over a cellular network, you will get the best performance if your phone is connected to the same wireless network as your console.
Solution 2: Windows 8 computers

Solution 1: Same Microsoft account?
If SmartGlass can’t find your Xbox 360 console, make sure the Microsoft account (formerly Windows Live ID) associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag is the same Microsoft account that you use on your phone. If you don’t know the Microsoft account that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account, see Find your Microsoft account or password.
Solution 2: Enable SmartGlass on your Xbox 360
For help with enabling SmartGlass on your Xbox 360, see Setup and use SmartGlass on the Xbox 360.
