Set up the Sony Pictures app

To watch Sony Pictures on your console, you need the following:

• An Xbox LIVE Gold Membership
• At least 75 megabytes (MB) of available storage space

  Download the Sony Pictures app

  1. On you console, sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. (Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is required.)
  2. Go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
  3. Browse for Sony Pictures.
  4. Select Sony Pictures to download and install the app.
  5. After the download completes, the app automatically starts, and you can browse through the catalog and view details about the available content.

  To start the Sony Pictures app later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then Sony Pictures.

  Watch Sony Pictures

  Go to Video, my video apps, and then Sony Pictures.

  1. From the featured hub, you can:
     
     • Watch any of the featured programs displayed in the center of the hub.
     • Navigate to featured, in theaters, at home, or my sony movies.
     • View the most popular releases or Sony Pictures Live content on the Sony Pictures service.
  2. Select something that you want to watch, and then select Play.

If you use Family Settings to control which movies and TV shows can be watched through Xbox LIVE, the Sony Pictures app will follow these settings. For example, if you prohibit TV-MA-rated TV shows from being watched on your console, those programs appear in the Sony Pictures app with a "restricted video" icon. To play a locked item, an adult must enter the Family Settings pass code.
