Set up the Vimeo app on Xbox

To use the Vimeo app, you need the following:

• An Xbox LIVE Gold membership
  Note The user associated with this membership must be at least 13 years of age.
• At least 132 megabytes (MB) of available space

1. On your console, sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. (Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is required.)
2. Go to Apps and select Browse Apps.
3. Browse for Vimeo.
4. Select Vimeo to download and install the app.
5. After the download, the app automatically starts. You'll be prompted to log in using your Vimeo account credentials or to create a new Viemeo account.
6. After you log in to your Vimeo account, you can browse through the catalog and view details about the available content.

To start the Vimeo app later, go to TV & Video, My Video Apps, and then Vimeo.

1. Go to TV & Video, My Video Apps, and then Vimeo. The feed hub is displayed.

2. From the Feed hub, you can select any of the featured programs.

   You can also navigate to the following hubs:

   • search – Search for content by name or keyword.

• featured – Select any of the featured clips that are displayed.

• categories – Choose a category and watch the clips in that category.

• Watch Later – Clips you've tagged for later viewing will appear here.

  Note If you didn't log in to the Vimeo app using your Vimeo account credentials, you can log in here.

After you've logged in using your Vimeo account credentials, you'll see more of the features associated with Watch Later.

• my stuff – Access the videos you’ve posted online to Vimeo.

  Note If you didn't log in to the Vimeo app using your Vimeo account credentials, you can log in here.

• settings – Clear your search history, run the Kinect Tuner, or log in.

3. Select something to watch, and then select Play.

When you start the Vimeo app the first time, you'll be prompted to log in to the Vimeo app by using your Vimeo account credentials.

Associate your Vimeo account with your console and gamertag

1. Scroll right and select settings.
2. Select Log In, and log in using your Vimeo account credentials.
   If you don't have a Vimeo account, create one at vimeo.com.
3. After you've logged in using your Vimeo account credentials, select Log In.

Once you've logged in using your Vimeo account credentials, you won't be prompted to sign in again unless you sign out from within the Vimeo app.

Unassociate your Vimeo account from your console and gamertag

You can unassociate your Vimeo account from your console and gamertag. Here's how:

1. Scroll right and select Settings.
2. Select Log Out of Vimeo.

For problems with your Vimeo account, email Vimeo.

Access for child users of the Vimeo app

When an Xbox LIVE account user is identified as a child by the Vimeo app, the following happens:

• The app warns that it’s not accessible to users under 13 unless a parent provides the code to unlock the app.
• If a parent unlocks the Vimeo app, the app warns that the parent is potentially allowing a user under 13 to log in to the app. The parent can then confirm or prevent the child from logging in.

It is the responsibility of the parent user to understand the Vimeo Terms of Service.

Note Xbox Support cannot change the age on a Microsoft account.

Using Family Setting to control access

If you use Family Settings to control what you share through Xbox LIVE, the Vimeo app will require a pass code for access. You'll need to enter the passcode for full access to the Vimeo app.
