If you see the error message “Can't connect right now. Please try again later,” it means that your device has lost network connectivity, and can’t connect to the Internet. Sometimes this error is represented by the code x0c00d1198 or c00d1198.

Check for updates, and update your computer
After you connect to Wi-Fi or the Internet again, check for any high-priority updates by going to Microsoft Update Center. The Windows Update screen will give you an update status and prompt you through any important updates. After you successfully update, try again. If your computer is already up to date, or an update doesn’t resolve this problem, try the steps listed in this article.
