Change your Xbox LIVE account information

You can change the name, address, phone number, or email associated with your Xbox LIVE billing account. Here’s how.

Note If you’re moving to a different country/region, you’ll need to perform some extra steps when you update your Xbox LIVE account. For more information, see Change the region of your Xbox LIVE account.

1. Go to Billing Account Information and sign in with the Microsoft account (email and password) that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account.

   Note If you don’t know your Microsoft account sign-in or password, see Find your Microsoft account.

2. Click profile, then click edit profile.

3. Make changes to your billing account information and click Save.

1. On your console, sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
2. Go to Settings, and then select Account.

3. Go to Your Information, and then select Billing Information.

4. Enter your Microsoft account password, and then select Sign In.
5. Edit your billing account information and then select Done.

If you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, use the Computer steps above.

Note

• You can’t change the country/region that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you moved and want to access Xbox LIVE from your new location, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.
