Check your Xbox LIVE or Zune billing and purchase history

Overview

You can see the history of items purchased on your Xbox LIVE and Zune accounts.

Note If you see fraudulent charges on your Xbox LIVE or Zune accounts, contact Xbox Support.

Solutions

Use the Microsoft Billing website to view your billing and purchase history

  1. On your computer, go to Xbox.com/account.

    Note When you log in, you may be prompted to set up a “security proof.” Security proofs are means of verifying your account ownership. Once your proofs are set up, you’ll need to use one of your proofs to confirm any account changes and to access certain parts of your account. For more information, click here.

    Note If you don’t know your Microsoft account email or password, see Find your Microsoft account.

  2. Click Sign In and then sign in to your account
  3. Under Payment & Billing, click Billing History.
    You will see charges for the past month listed on the page.
  4. To see transaction for another date range, click transactions at the top of the page. If you want to print your transaction results, click show print view.

Note If your Xbox LIVE membership is the Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan (formerly "2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract"), you will not see your charges at the Microsoft Billing website; instead, you will receive a monthly email at your Microsoft account email address that lists the charges to that account.

Use the Xbox console to view your download and purchase history

  1. Select Settings, and then select Account.
  2. Select Download History.
  3. Select Xbox Music and Video Purchase History to see your music and video purchases. Or, scroll down to see the games and apps that you have downloaded and purchased.

    The items that you’ve downloaded are listed.

Use the Zune software to view your Zune purchase history

  1. Start the Zune software, and then click SIGN IN in the upper-right corner of the screen. Enter your Microsoft account (formerly “Windows Live ID”) email address and password, and then click the SIGN IN button next to the PASSWORD box.
  2. Click Settings in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click Account in the upper-left corner of the screen.
  4. Click Purchase History in the column at the left. Your purchases are listed by category.
