You can have one or more payment options associated with your Xbox LIVE account. Payment options can include credit cards and PayPal accounts, which can be used to purchase items from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
If you are on a 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract, your account must be associated with a credit card. Debit cards, pre-paid cards, and PayPal are not valid payment options for this subscription. You can change your payment to another credit card, but if you do not have a credit card associated with your account and it is before the end of the two years, you are effectively canceling the subscription and will be charged an Early Termination Fee and any applicable taxes.
You can easily edit your payment options on your console or at Xbox.com. Here’s how:

To edit a payment option, click Edit.
