How to buy, manage, and cancel a Call of Duty ELITE subscription

With Call of Duty ELITE for Xbox LIVE, you can join Public Groups of players and create Private Clans, where you can share, stream, and stack up your Call of Duty ELITE conquests on a global stage. Learn more about Call of Duty ELITE.

Before you buy a Call of Duty ELITE subscription, you should have the following:

Create a Call of Duty ELITE account

Before you buy a Call of Duty ELITE subscription, create a Call of Duty ELITE account. Enter a log-on name, email address, password, and personal information for your account. After your account is created, link your Xbox LIVE account to your Call of Duty ELITE account by entering your Windows Live ID and password into the account linking section.

Buy a Call of Duty ELITE subscription

Buy your Call of Duty ELITE subscription from the Xbox Dashboard or from games supported by the ELITE subscription. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in on your console with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
  2. Go to the Game Marketplace and select the A-Z view.
  3. Select C and then Call of Duty ELITE or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
  4. Go to Extras and select Memberships.
  5. Select Call of Duty ELITE.
  6. Select whether you want to pay with Microsoft Points or your local currency.

    Note Subscriptions do not automatically renew.

  7. Follow the on-screen directions to complete your purchase.

Manage your subscription

All account management for your Call of Duty ELITE subscription on Xbox can be done from your console or on Xbox.com. For information about managing your subscriptions or checking your bill, please see the Manage your subscription topics.

Cancel your subscription

To turn off auto-renewal for your Call of Duty ELITE subscription:

  1. Go to My Account.
  2. Click Sign In (upper-right corner) and type your Windows Live ID information (if you’re not already signed in).
  3. Look for Call of Duty ELITE in the subscriptions area
  4. Next to your auto-renewal status, select Change.
  5. Follow the on-screen directions.
