Project Spark has been discontinued, and the game will no longer be available for purchase or download from the Store after May 13, 2016. On August 12, 2016, services will go offline for existing users.
Project Spark was made available for free on October 5, 2015. If you purchased and played the Project Spark Starter Kit between June 28, 2015, and October 5, 2015, you should have already received a credit to your Microsoft account.
If you purchased and redeemed the code inside a retail copy of Project Spark on or after October 5, 2015, you will receive a credit to your Microsoft account. This can be used to purchase content in the Store.
For more information, visit the Project Spark website.
You will receive a Microsoft account credit if the following are true:
Your credit will appear in your account within 30 to 60 days of the game closing on May 13, 2016. The credit you receive will be in the currency matching your Microsoft account.
You can use the credit that you receive to make purchases in the Store. For more information on managing your Microsoft account credit, see Check your Microsoft account balance.
If you own Project Spark, you'll be able to continue playing offline, but you'll no longer be able to download user-generated content or upload your own creations after August 12, 2016.
If you have any problems with your Microsoft account credit, sign in to manage your Microsoft account. If you’re still unable to resolve your problem, contact Xbox Support.
