Gears of War 3 information and troubleshooting

Place the statue on a stable surface and remove the gun from the plastic bag. To assemble the Marcus Fenix statue:

1. Insert the gun vertically between Marcus’s hands.


2. Push the gun in toward the base.


3. Align the peg at the end of the gun with the hole in the base.


4. Insert the peg into the base. Assembly is complete.

If the above steps don’t work for you, you can try these alternate assembly steps:

1. Align the peg at the end of the gun with the hole in the base.


2. Insert the peg into the base.


3. Push the gun back in between Marcus’s hands.


4. Assembly is complete.

The limited edition COG has a code you can use to unlock the Adam Fenix character in multiplayer Gears of War 3. The code itself is unique and may be difficult to read.

If you’re having trouble reading the code on the COG or you get an error when you try to redeem it, take another look at the Gears of War 3 COG using these tips:

• Read the COG code in a well-lit room.
• Try using a magnifying glass to increase the size of the code.
• Hold the COG at an angle to reduce reflection.

If you still can’t redeem your COG code, call Xbox Support. See the Assistance section at the bottom of this page for more information.

After completing the Gears of War 3 single player campaign, the ”Game complete” achievements won’t unlock. This can happen if you exited Gears of War 3 or powered off your Xbox 360 console before the game chapter was marked as completed.

To unlock ”Game complete” achievements, do this:

1. Go to the chapter select screen in Gears of War 3 and look for chapters that don’t have a completed icon for your difficulty level.
2. Replay all chapters that are not marked as completed.

Once all chapters have the completed icon, the appropriate achievement will unlock.

Some Gears of War 3 content unlocks based on your progress in Gears of War 2 or the Gears of War 3 beta.

If Gears of War 3 content based on Gears of War 2 progress will not unlock, try the following:

• Make sure you’re signed in on your console using the profile that earned the achievements in Gears of War 2.

Some Gears of War 3 content unlocks based on the game save from the Gears of War 3 beta.

If Gears of War 3 content will not unlock, try the following:

• Make sure your game save from the Gears of War 3 beta and the Gears of War 3 full game are saved on the same storage device.
