If you can’t download the Games for Windows Marketplace software, here are some things to try.
You need a Microsoft account to sign in to the Games for Windows Marketplace software. If you don't have one, sign up for a Microsoft account. It's free!

Get the most recent Microsoft software updates for your computer.

If you get an error stating that there is not enough disk space, try the following steps:
Note Windows requires hard disk space for virtual memory.
If you see status error 0x80070002 when you try to install Games for Windows Marketplace, there may be a problem with the Xliveredist.msi file that you downloaded. Go to the folder where you saved the Xliveredist.msi file and delete it. Then, redownload the file and try the installation again.
If you see a different status code error when you try to install Games for Windows Marketplace, try searching for the error using the Xbox error code/status code search tool.
