When you purchase content from Xbox Music or Xbox Video, you purchase it only one time and you can play it on any Xbox 360 console, Windows 8 computer, Surface tablet, or Windows Phone 7.
Xbox MusicYou can use the Xbox Music app to purchase content from Xbox Music and store and play what you buy on your Xbox 360 console, Windows 8-based computer, Surface tablet, or Windows Phone 7.
You can also use your Windows Phone 7 to access the music that you've stored on your console or computer.

At Xbox Video, you can choose from thousands of movies and TV shows, then download and watch them on your console, Windows 8-based computer, or Windows Phone 7.
Depending on the type of video, you can either rent or purchase. Most movies are available for purchase or rental, whereas most TV shows are only available for purchase.
Most videos are available in standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) formats. If you have an HDTV and an Xbox console, take advantage of the HD format and watch the movie in up to 1080p resolution and 5.1 surround sound.
