Note Only the original Xbox 360 console has a removable faceplate. The Xbox 360 S console does not have a removable faceplate.

Original Xbox 360 console faceplates are ...

  • Resistant to scratching and fading.
  • Easy to change.
  • Available in limited-edition designs.

Remove the faceplate (original Xbox 360 console only)

1. Unplug the power cord and any other cables connected to the back of your console.

2. Position your console horizontally, as you would position a DVD player.

3. While holding the console firmly, push the faceplate away from the console with your thumbs.

Note You will need to use some force to remove the faceplate.
