Troubleshoot problems with the DailyBurn app

This article offers solutions to problems you might experience when using the DailyBurn app with Xbox Live and your Xbox 360 console.

Xbox Live connection problems

The DailyBurn app doesn't respond

If the DailyBurn app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to "Daily Burn."
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps and select DailyBurn.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

If the problem isn’t resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the DailyBurn app.

Connectivity errors

  • Sorry, the DailyBurn server isn’t available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • Sorry, the DailyBurn server isn’t available right now. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • DailyBurn server unavailable.
  • A server or network error has occurred. Please try again later.
  • An unknown error has occurred.
  • An internal error has occurred.

If you get one of these error messages, try the following solutions in order:

  1. Go to Service status to check whether there's a current problem with Xbox Live or the DailyBurn app.
  2. If there are no reported problems and you get one of these errors when you try to start the DailyBurn app, wait about a minute and then try again.
  3. If you still get the error, delete and reinstall the DailyBurn app.

If you keep getting the error message, contact Xbox Support.

Application error

  • The Application has encountered an unexpected error and will now exit.

If you get this error message, try the following solutions in order:

  1. Go to Service status to check whether there's a current problem with Xbox Live or the DailyBurn app.
  2. If there are no reported problems and you get this error when you try to start the DailyBurn app, wait about a minute and then try again.
  3. If, after restarting the app, you get the error message, delete and reinstall the DailyBurn app.

If you keep getting the error message, contact Xbox Support.

Availability errors

  • The item you were looking for is no longer available.
  • The video cannot be played at this time.
  • A missing data error has occurred.
  • Sorry, the video you were interested in is no longer available.

If you get one of these error messages, try the following solutions in order:

  1. Wait about a minute and then try to access the content again.
  2. Select a different piece of content to watch.
  3. Go to Service status to check whether there's a current problem with Xbox Live or the DailyBurn app.
  4. If there are no reported problems and you get one of these errors when you try to start the DailyBurn app, wait about a minute and then try again.
  5. If, after restarting the app, you get one of these error messages, delete and reinstall the DailyBurn app.
